22 Year Old with Advanced Norwood IV Hair Loss

This 22-year-old male already had Norwood IV advanced hair loss. We were able to start him on finasteride 1mg daily and oral minoxidil 2.5mg daily to stabilize his loss, and he opted to proceed with FUE hair surgery, undergoing 1,513 hair grafts with 1 to 4 hairs.

Most hair grafts were placed in the frontal 2/3 of his scalp to let the medications help fill in the crown area.

After 1 year, he had considerable hair growth in the grafted area (and is enjoying letting his hair grow long!) He has also seen the crown thicken nicely with just the medications.
