Alopecia Areata Treated by PRP – Platelet Rich Plasma

This 37 year old female had hair loss due to alopecia areata. She had failed numerous first-line therapies including topical steroids and steroid injections. We treated her with a single session of PRP and she had dramatic regrowth. Note: Alopecia areata is a rather unpredictable condition, which can regrow even without therapy. These results cannot be expected in every case.
