Female Hair Transplant and Combo Med Therapy
This lovely 79-year-old woman was bothered by her high hairline, diffuse thinning over the mid-scalp, and see-through crown area (vertex). She began with a combination of medical therapies over time. We gradually added oral minoxidil and finasteride, and then switched later to dutasteride.

Ultimately, she chose to undergo a hair transplant surgery (strip/FUT) where Dr. Rogers transplanted 1,414 one to four hair grafts from the back of her scalp, where she had much greater density, to the top and frontal hairline. She is really happy with her results! After photos were taken 2 years after her surgery, showing the combined effects of medical and surgical therapy.
