Dr. Nicole Rogers Receives The 2023 ISHRS Golden Follicle Award

The ISHRS Golden Follicle Award is bestowed annually to a physician who has made outstanding and significant clinical or educational contributions related to the field of hair restoration surgery. The 2023 Golden Follicle Award was presented to Nicole E. Rogers, MD, FISHRS, a fellowship-trained hair restoration surgeon and board-certified dermatologist from New Orleans, Louisiana, USA for her significant contributions to the field of hair restoration surgery during its 31st World Congress, held in person in Delhi, India, November 1-4, 2023.

An accomplished educator, Dr. Rogers serves as a clinical professor at Tulane University Medical School’s Department of Dermatology where she attended medical school. As a dermatology resident at Tulane, Dr. Rogers was appointed chief resident and helped rebuild Tulane’s training program following Hurricane Katrina that devastated the New Orleans area in 2005. Her commitment to the ISHRS is unwavering, having served on the annual scientific meeting committee several times and co-chaired the ISHRS’s popular Live Patient Viewing.

Dr. Rogers has published many textbook chapters and reviews on hair loss and hair transplantation, giving numerous lectures on medical therapies for hair disorders. Known for her endearing generosity, Dr. Rogers’ clinic door is always open to those who want to learn the latest surgical and medical therapies to treat hair loss.

The ISHRS has over 1,000 members in 70 countries. Its goal is to promote the highest standards of medical practice, research, and medical ethics in the hair restoration industry.
