72 Year Old Female Finally Restores Her Hair

This lovely 72-year-old had struggled with hair thinning for decades before she made her appointment with Dr. Rogers. She had very fine hair and had already been taking oral minoxidil 1.25mg and finasteride 5mg daily for several years. Dr. Rogers increased her dosage of minoxidil to 2.5mg daily and changed her finasteride to dutasteride in an attempt to thicken her donor hair before surgery.

After a year on the new medical regimen, we performed a linear strip excision (FUT), harvesting 724,  1-4 hair grafts and placing them over the frontal 1/3 of her scalp.
